As well as Nokia France (via PhoneHouse), Rogers Canada will be having the Nokia Lumia 920 on sale today. It’s noted only black will be available AT LAUNCH. I’m not sure if this will be the same arrangement as Nokia France who mentions the other colours coming next week.

Why is the back plate silver? It was supposed to be black?
Might be a render or pre-production model.

Morningstar today about Nokia:
Share price assumption at this moment: 2.40 euro (Nokia share is in Helsinki right now 2.06 euro, in New York 2.56 dollar)
Best scenario (if WP8 phones go well): the stock price will go to about 7.70 euro per share)
Worst scenario: no bankruptcy, because Nokia would be sold in parts before that.
Estimated price for this: intellectual properties over 1 euro per share;
other business parts (smartphones, featurephones, NSN) at least over 1.50 euro per share.
And NAVTEQ´s price not included (Nokia bought NAVTEQ with about 7 billion euro). All in all even in this case, Nokia share price would be at least over 2.5 euro. Pretty much like my thoughts and analysis.
Too disappointed with WP8…
Nokia boards have decided to come up with backup plan by combining Carla/Donna and MeeGo working together with Jolla, Accenture, Qt etc. MeeGo as outer OS and Carla/Donna as inner OS running internally inside MeeGo just by swiping down in the homescreen to access internal OS. By default is the internal is Belle but then can run WP8 (by purchasing) or Android Jelly Bean (by developers) side by side as internal OSes…
Yeah… like based on your previous comments you were ever going to like it.
Troll on, son.
Symbian is dead. Move one.
I really do want to move on with WP8 as Lumia 920 is a superb device but sadly WP8 is not much improvement from WP7.5…
You’re a goof. Most of the flaws of WP have been fixed with WP8. The remaining small flaws are extremely likely to be fixed soon in the next WP update. Bluetooth file transfer, USB mass storage mode, and much improved video codec support has been added. Resizable tiles and the live lock screen wallpaper gives a lot more user flexibility and customizability.
It just gain the basic functions that belle and MeeGo have all along and that’s it?
Nothing spectacular…
I hate the limited of central notification…
Most people WANT only basic functions, not an endless configuration hell. Design it’s about making people’s lives easier by e.g. doing more in less time. This is what Symbian never managed to do, and don’t think MeeGo or Sailfish can do either. And actually Symbian crashed at least once a week on my E75, while Lumia 800 has not crashed even once in the last year.
Fire Eflop for not having devices ready to ship on the day WP8 is launched. HTC’s Lumia clone is getting ALL the press.
NOKIA IS A NO-SHOW AND THEIR REMAINING FEW CUSTOMERS ARE FRUSTRATED AT NOT BEING TO BUY THE LUMIA 920 IN AMERICA OR MOST OF EUROPE!!!!
Ummm . . .read the article. It is available today. Previous article also confirmed Europe.
NO! Look at the websites of the biggest carriers in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Netherlands etc.. Not a single one of them has the Lumia 920 AT ALL!!!!

Please just shut up. I’d rather wait for a phone which is ready than buy a phone which Maps are a disaster
I was going to get this for my dad but the Nexus 4 is just such a better deal at $300-350 and being unlocked however after using Windows 8 I may just get one for myself
The Nexus 4 is going to be quite the hit. It launched at the price you’d usually wait other phones to drop to. The spec/price/feature combination puts it in impulse buy territory. The Lumia 710 was there too, maybe if we’re lucky the 810 and 820 will be really cheap. If they don’t manage to undercut the Nexus 4 with their midrange devices, Nokia and HTC are going to be in trouble.
Not it won’t be a hit, try again troll. Nexus 4 has NO micro sd, no storage options past 16GB, and no cloud doesn’t count. Also absolutely NO LTE capability, which is a big deal breaker for many people in North America and parts of Europe and Asia. Plus poor battery life, shitty LG build quality, and fragile body due to a glass back.
Yeah, all those features that haven’t been a problem for plenty of other phones. Nobody cares about micro SD. Some would care about full SD since that’s what cameras actually use.
LTE is a deal breaker for almost no-one. It’s barely been rolled out anywhere. It’ll be a year or two before it’s available in enough areas that a significant portion of the population can actually use it.
LG’s build quality has always been good to excellent. Their failing has always been software, but Google handles that with the Nexus 4, so it’s not a concern. The glass back isn’t really the problem, since it’s not edge to edge. The battery in there is massive, it’s not going to have poor battery life. The Endurance rating for the Optimus G (which would have worse battery life due to LTE) is 45 hours.
I ordered 2 Nokia N9′s 2 weeks ago (accidentally won 2 bids on eBay). But then I decided that I’d sell my Lumia 800 and one of the N9′s and buy a Lumia 920 with that money. But after seeing the Nexus 4 for so cheap, I can’t help but sell my N9′s and buy the Nexus 4. It’s too good a deal to miss out. It’ll be perfect for me. I have a Lumia 800 and iPod Touch. Getting the Nexus 4 means I’ll get all 3 horses in my stable. I’m expecting Nokia to support Lumia 800/900 with good exclusive apps.
Side note: The Nexus 4 will be my first non-Nokia phone. My last 4 phones were all Nokias. Currently using the Lumia 800. So let’s see how it goes. Although I’ll still use the 800 as my main phone.
Your loss
The Nexus 4 will be a curio. People buy expensive smartphones on contract for ‘free’ or a hundred quid.
Stil no review of the 920. This is ominous.
Some people do, a lot don’t. Especially since if you’re already in a contract and your phone breaks or wears out, you can’t get the discounted price.
Nokia Lumia 920 in Finland 9h40min. http://www.elisa.fi/lumia/
rogers friggin sucks……worst telecom company ever……. monopolistic bastards..worst services….they rip you off and steal from w you with shitty plans and rip off contracts…

Not that I’m a fan of Rogers, but you’re not right either.
