Video: Nokia Lumia 822 for Verizon hands-on with CNet
Here’s CNet with a hands on of the Nokia Lumia 822 for Verizon.
I like how it’s mentioned that ‘because it’s Nokia, it will have Wireless charging’, like it’s a Nokia thing now :p.
It looks like an arty retro C7.

16GB she said for 822, thats a good upgrade and with 64GB SDXC card it gets bumped to 80GB of storage. WOW
Nice looking phone but i think the T-Mobile version looks sexier. IMO
A an aside, CNET UK have the review for the 920 up. It does very well with the main concerns being the lack of apps, weight and battery life. The camera is also rated as not quite as good as the iPhone 5′s for daytime shots (all reviews state this so a common theme).
It’s a good review and I’ll be getting one for sure now. Nokia can always release better camera algorithms and battery saving software. Apps will come as WP8 shares code core with W8.
There’s something fishy about that review. Too many iphone references for my liking
It’s no secret CNET UK loves their apples. Still, quite good review if we keep that in mind.
I thought it was Nexus 4 advertisement..
small sensor size and emphasis on low light photography means noisy pictures, we’ve seen this since the verge’s night shot comparison.
There has to be a compromise somewhere.
The Price is very hot ! But i dont like the thickness
The Verge Facebook is running a poll for your next smartphone. Its time to vote foe the 920 again. These U.S. tech websites are in a panic with the 920 winning these polls.
That’s too much white on the screen for an AMOLED device… I hope they default to a black background for the 820′s to increase battery life.
