Nokia Music Updated; Brings New UI Changes & Support for Lumia 510
Nokia has just received a general update for the Lumia 820 & 920 (I assume all Windows Phone 8 devices in general); bringing with it some new UI changes besides the previous set of features added in the last update (Gig finder, social sharing, equalizer); the UI changes are as follows:
Once you play a track, if you side swipe then you get:
- Artist bio
- Official tweets
- Images
- Tour dates
- Mixes where that artist is featured
- Ability to “Create” a playlist based on that artist
Those UI changes are pretty nifty, keeping you in the loop with your favorite artists (also I can’t recall ever seeing a feature like that before, so kudos to Nokia). In the upgrade as well (of the WP 7.5 version) was compatibility support for the low end Lumia 510.

I’m glad windows 8 phones will be getting Xbox music also, that way people can see just how great Nokia Musics music selection really is and how mix radio introduces you to new great music which is not allowed on U.S. radio stations.
Most people won’t, because Nokia Music isn’t widely available.
If there only was an equalizer (for wp7.x) something to make up that bad sound quality of the Lumia 800, or at least an update that really works…
Remember the update that made the speaker louder for music? Only works on Nokia Music / Zune, not for FM radio… and stops working if it gets interupted by a system sound… this shows how poor wp7.x and it’s possibilitys really are
