Video: Nokia’s Ringtone Maker App for Nokia Lumia WP8
This app allows users to choose what portion of their MP3 files they’d like as their ringtone. Quite useful if it’s somewhere in the middle/end instead of relying on just the beginning.
Much better, less convoluted way of using your own songs as ringtones rather than the WP7.5 method.

Available in North American market and works perfect. I really can’t guess what a lot of the reviewers are doing wrong.
More ringtones aren’t that important. I would be happy about such simple things like being able to adjust the ringtone volume independently of the audio volume…
Coming from the N9 and just 2 days with a 920 I have already a long list with “inconveniences” imposed by WP on this fantastic piece of HW! It showed me again what a good concept Harmattan was. Still like the phone, but it might be a transitional phone until Jolla is ready.
Yes, the system wide volume control is a pisser, as is the lack of video zoom during recording and not being able to use the volume rocker to zoom in the camera UI. My list is quite short, these things being my biggest nags. The greatness outweighs my bitches in my book, so I’ll forgive them and hope they are changed in the Apollo+ update.
