PR1.1 update for Nokia Lumia 920 includes camera fix – solves ‘fuzzy’ daylight pics

ENGEngadget says it’s time to rejoice as Nokia’s PR1.1 update brings the Nokia Lumia 920 up to the performance they had expected (and from what they had originally tried in Nokia Lumia 920 prototypes!). Whilst OIS low light had always been a winner, there were some noted problems regarding low light. This was mentioned directly to Nokia in a Q&A session. Whilst it seemed it was not directly answered, clearly there’s been something in the works.

Regarding fuzziness, Engadget says that’s been fixed. However, they reckon there’s still some white balance issues.

It’s probably easier to tell if you look at the composite/cropped shots as the the pics (PR1.0/PR1.1 otherwise look the same)

Cheers Muerte for the tip!
