Bluetooth Sharing app for WP7.8 available at Marketplace
As promised by Nokia, they said they’d bring BT file sharing to Lumia as it wasn’t yet a standard feature for WP7. Whilst you’d need to have a WP7.8 device (upgrades coming soon or you can install get the ROM on Navifirm at your own risk).
The app is available at the store link below. I’m not sure if this will integrate nicely into the share options or whether you have to open up the app specifically. There’s a section specifically for Pictures/Files. I am not sure either what file limitations if any are present.

Note: BT file sharing (and NFC tap to share) is already available for WP8 Lumia by default.

Anyway, the Bluetooth Share actually works very well. One thing is, Videos can’t be shared at all.

Yes, but it can’t automatically enable or disable BT, and the app has to be open and of course can’t run in background to receive any files
But that’s only the same as someone saying ‘turn your Bluetooth on!’ when they want to send you something – pretty standard I would say.
Half full.
I remember getting a virus sent to my phone on the bus when I was on S60v2 – obviously I didn’t accept it, but those limitations sound more like a plus than a minus to me.
But you don’t have to go to settings to manually enable BT. There’s an option in the app to do that.
Really for NaviFirm flashed Lumias..
Seems not, unavailable for my little ‘uns 7.8 flashed 800.
did u/him only search it on store or also scanned the QR code above? when I downloaded ringtone maker and BT share, I had to scan QR codes to be able to download them, searching only didnt find them on store.
QR code found the application, description, screenshots, etc. in the store but it was not available to download.
Not even if I change the region settings to US and reboot.
Ringtone maker has been there for days too(for 7.8)
I also flash my lumia 800 with wp 7.8, but can’t find ringtone maker. Where did you find it ???
I don’t know about availability for L800 as Andrew_b couldnt get bt share on L800. I’ve got Lumia 900 flashed with finnish wp7.8 variant and I scanned QR codes I found from WMPoweruser and I got both apps downloaded succesfully
the WP is suck , i used the blutooth from 2003 in the nokia device symbian normal without any program I HATE THE WIMDOWS PHONE is too ugly
