Nokia Lumia 920 coming to Vodafone UK on Wednesday (820 and 620 too!)

Screen Shot 2013-02-04 at 11.58.30It’s been known for a while that EE’s exclusivity for the 920 would end in the UK and that Vodafone would one day pick up the Nokia Lumia 920, but we weren’t sure when.

Today, the Vodafone Blog confirms it’s coming this Wednesday.  I’m surprised they’re proudly picturing the infamous yellow one and not BIG RED.

They’ll also have the 820 and new 620.

If I could have waited, I probably would have gone for Vodafone over EE/Orange. EE’s signal is so patchy here (so much so that folks at my placement are switching work phone lines to Vodafone)

why is the yellow “infamous”? because its always out of stock?

i rrly wanted a yellow one :(, had to go red , i like it, but feels a bit feminine :D , less than the white one tho :)

I may buy the Fiat 500 in yellow as my next car to match my 920.

Although it’s nice to see that the 920 is finally coming to different carriers, I certainly wouldn’t recommend Vodafone to anyone.

Vodafone is fine if you don’t mind dropping back to 2G half of the time, because their 3G coverage isn’t great outside of the cities, leaving you with either GPRS or EDGE, which is worse than useless for anything other than the most basic text websites. O2 is similar.

EE has the best 3G coverage followed by H3G.

I agree that Voda’s 3G signal is shocking where ever i tend to be! but from my days on o2 i recall that being very good! Infact I need to get back to o2! only there quite expensive these days!
