HERE on Gear: HERE Maps on Samsung Galaxy Gear

The official HERE Maps blog tells all about Nokia’s HERE Mapping solutions providing some navigation experience on Samsung’s Galaxy Gear wearables.

Now it makes sense that the HERE blog is separate to NokConv as it talks about the Samsung devices in the way they’d talk about Nokia ones previously. That and NokConv is probably changing to become whatever it’ll be called when Nokia D&S is at MS.

The app, TurnbyTurn is made by Symphony Teleca. You can plan routes on the Sammy and then sync it with gear. I guess that whilst the screen is smaller, it might make for a less conspicuous walking navigation as you look at your watch every now and again instead of a big screened phone.
