Since WP8.1 and the automatic app updates, I rarely notice the silent updates unless I notice particular apps are doing something new.

Today, my gallery started autoplaying videos. As it turns out, Nokia Camera got the v4.7.2.5 update which brings:

  • Living images – get a bit of motion before the shot is taken.
  • Continuous AF for faster focusing
  • Surround sound in video capture
  • New camera roll with full res zooming, inline playback of videos as well as cinemagraphs, smart sequences and pics taken with Nokia Refocus.
  • Nokia Camera also integrates with Nokia Creative Studio and Nokia Video Trimmer for editing of photos and videos.

If you say, “woah, woah, woah, where’s my continuous AF and Living images”, you would need a 930 and 1520 with Lumia Cyan update.
