Nokia (now MS) has been spearheading the Wireless charging front. It’s something I take for granted and use on a daily basis.

The latest idea to the charging accessories is by way of having a cool soft glow. Instead of a small LED light that indicates it’s being charged, it’s now a lot more obvious and makes a very cool all around glow (a bit like strip LED lighting around monitors).

Another strange but possibly cool feature is that if your phone is connected to it by low power bluetooth 4.0, when your phone is low battery, it will glow in a breathing motion to tell you to charge up.

It will also glow for notifications.

It reminds me a bit of the borg when they charge up. Especially the green one. No…just me?
