Nokia Lumia 800 fixes info? Release soon?
On Friday, we saw some details on the new Nokia firmware update,
but we only saw what might have been coming in the camera department. Rebbe commented that there’s more details at the link below:

These are the following fixes apparently coming soon. I’ve been fortunate enough not to be amongst those with battery problems but I am in the group where the camera sucks ass. (Well, my expectations are high coming from N8 and I miss xenon flash terribly). The white balance in auto has been fixed (thank goodness, sometimes if I take photos with LED flash, everything turns green 🙁 ). Non-flash/ample lighting is actually quite good imo, and setting contrast to low helps a lot.
I did notice that the hardware button does stop lighting up when the phone is set to full brightness, I thought that was purposely done since the top brightness occurs when outdoors and however bright the button lights are, you wouldn’t see them anyway. This is actually not present on my Batman Lumia that I have not updated.
I’m not actually sure if there’s a difference in hardware or firmware (I will check later) as my batman Lumia is much brighter at the brightest setting and it has brighter minimum brightness when set at auto.
Headset sound apparently fixed – not one I would know much about since I hardly listen to music through earphones anymore (though I am looking to get a Purity Headset) but I have read a comment about this in one of our posts.
– The Fast battery drain issue has been fixed
– The lack of audio Bass when listening through headsets has been fixed. There’s a whole lot of bass now..
– The auto-white balance issue with the camera has also been fixed
– The hardware buttons backlights are now always on at all screen brightness levels
– Diagnostics app has been changed to prevent users from getting misleading info about their device
– Focus Mode is now set to Normal by default in the camera app
– More stuff that I won’t talk about
