Holy smokes! The N900 is at a rock bottom price considering it’s Nokia’s highest spec’d Nseries device to date. Not only is it cheaper than the N97 at launch (both SIM free and contract) – it’s cheaper than the N97 on contract right now!

Even better is that you have the choice of excellent 24, 18 and amazingly 12 month contracts too!

Thanks to MaemoTalk for the heads up! I’ve been checking mobilephonesdirect the past couple of weeks and nothing’s come up. But they’ve got some pretty good deals on the N900 now.

N900 CONTRACT

Contract Deal 1

  • £29.36 for 18 months, FREE Nokia N900
  • Total cost: 528.48
  • 300 minutes
  • 300 text
  • unlimited web (4GB apparently)

Consider that the allowances alone has a value of about £18 (on rolling monthly contract) – over the 18 months,

Cost of N900 = £204.48!

But you may want an unlocked, unbranded SIM free handset – if you’re after unlocked and unbranded. These guys at MobilePhonesDirect are decent people – I got my N97 from them and they have an excellent online chat support. My N97 is unlocked/unbranded – works with any sim and always ready to be upgraded to the next firmware.

Contract Deal 2

  • £29.36 for 12 months, Nokia N900 for 77.99
  • Total cost: 430.31
  • 300 minutes
  • 200 text

Over 12 months, considering the value of contract alone at about £12, the cost of your N900 is £286.41

These are just a couple of deals – you can check out mobilephonesdirect for others that may suit your usage better – or you can try other sites.

Pay as you Go (with Vodafone)

ni00 pay as you go

They’ve got it listed at £392.99
