This evening, London will be welcoming back Michael Hell who hasn’t had enough of the city after the Ovi Good Things event. Whilst planning a return visit to Blighty Michael has also sorted out a WOMWorld meetup.
I wasn’t sure I’d be going as I knew I had plans at the end of the week. As it turns out, those meetings are postponed till next week so I’ve decided to head down too (I can’t back out now I’ve got a cake to bring over :P)
It’s also a mini “CES 07” meetup as Michael, Dan, Donna and I will meet up all together for the first time since Jan 07 (And hey, today’s Jan 07 too!)
Mike and Dan will be hanging around for a few days afterwards – I must get back to work >_>.
I’ve had the fortunate pleasure to see Donna a few more time since, and recently saw Michael in September :)]
As well as getting bloggers and “opinion leaders” hands on time with Nokia devices, my favourite part of the WOMWorld experience is the connecting people bit -_^. Meeting up with other techy-internet personalities and the people behind the WOM crew has been an utter blessing – it’s really quite something meeting the people behind the online opinions you respect.
I’m looking forward to meeting the infamous James Whatley as well as the three Christopher’s below (Stobbs/Illman and Phillips) and Nirave Gondhia.
Katie, Lydia and Tom – absolute stars, an absolute privilege to have met these guys!
