Nokia E7 Scheduled Shipping Date: December 10 (2010:p)

Early today @Nokia tweeted that:
“E7 is scheduled to ship starting from Dec10. Exact availability varies country-by-country”
UPDATE: Mark at TheNokiaBlog says Dec10 Means December 2010. Not December 10 2010. So for all we know another end of the month type trick to still be within the said time frame. Like N8 shipping 3rd Quarter – at the very last day of the third quarter – though still not for sale in many areas.
Hopefully in time for Christmas sales eh?
It’s not as quick to release as the C7 or C6-01 but this is the first TOUCH Symbian^3 phone and the first ever TOUCH Eseries phone (with the biggest touch screen on a Nokia phone). So expect some major software tweaking to be going on behind the scenes. Hey, at least it’s not the same wait as N8.
It should be well worth the wait – absolutely stunning 4″ CBD AMOLED display, the best keyboard ever on a Nokia, Rugged N8-esque design.
Whilst we wait for the Nokia E7 here are some E7 related posts you might have missed:

Thats great news!, I just hope it get’s released here in the US at that time. I still can’t seem to find the FCC filings for this device which worries me
FCC filings for Nokia devices occassionally come just before release. There really is little need to worry.
I hope so Andre as I have been waiting for this device since they announced it and I would much prefer paying for it in the US than trying to get it imported. Would cost a lot more than what I am willing to pay. I’m not even sure how much it will even cost in the US! ($600??)
Well it’s likely to be more expensive than the N8. Of course, there’s the off chance that a carrier might pick it up if you didnt want to go unsubsidized.
The pre-order for E7 in Finland is EURO 699. In Finland, the price can be adjusted, meaning lower or higher, when the product goes to market.
So Finland is already taking pre-orders? I wasn’t aware any countries in Europe are taking pre-orders of this device. I’m sure Finland must be an exception.
Also, It will have to be lower than that! 699 euro is definitely not the final value. Probably more like 500.
N8 was euro 499. It included bluetooth headset etc. I guess 699 also includes something else, not just the phone.
I remember E7 is also pre-orderable in the UK sometime ago already.
I might have overlooked it because I really didn’t see any pre-order page for the device.
On a side note: Why do I see the C7 available in 3rd party stores here in the US for $466 and NokiaUSA does not even have it listed on their site. That is just ridiculous! I didn’t even think that this device was even targeted for the US region at all.
I may have better luck getting a hold of the E7 from 3rd party vendors than from Nokia
Interesting. It is likely Nokia didn’t release C7 to the USA and 3rd party stores import from somewhere, as C7 is a limited release.
There is a rumor that Nokia is facing a supply problem with amoled display. However, Salo and Beijing factories for N8 both are hiring extra temporary assembly line etc workers. If nokia can’t deliver, why do Nokia hire more workers? Actually, Nokia might have piled enough components in stock already when pre-order started.
