TabCo likes the word “Swipe” on Facebook page (N9 MeeGo Swipe?)
We’ve been following the Tabco Story closely, clutching at straws for the possibility of it being Nokia/MeeGo related. Bharadwaj posted something recently yesterday as well as these two other posts that puts together information that suggests it could be from Nokia here and here.
Mark from TheNokiaBlog has noticed that on TabCo’s facebook page they say they LIKE the word Swipe.
Swipe is of course the N9/N950’s Harmattan UI on MeeGo, with all that swipy goodness.
Does liking swipe mean anything?

And comes with Megan Fox, lol
They don’t seem to like speculating on these fronts when they did a Yes/No Q&A a couple of days ago
“This is all in good fun, and we can’t reveal anything that will spoil our launch, so please resist from asking questions like this:
(I probably won’t answer these kinds of questions):
Is it Android?
Are you Nokia?
Will it kill the iPad?”
Nokia Android Tablet to kill iPad?! :p :p

Update: I forgot to add this comment from Kyle who thinks these folks possibly could be INQ. Is Frank Meehan someone who would look good in Skinny Jeans (does any man?) – one of Tabco’s clues on their CEO.
I think that TabCo will turn out to be INQ and they will be offering a tablet running either a custom OS or more likely Android running a UI layer that emphasizes circles.
Their current UI uses circles as a theme and the Q in INQ is also a very circular graphic.
Further to that, their CEO “I”a”N” “Q”uincy seems to use the same letters as the company name.
In this interview, Meehan talks of the iPad, shows admiration for that product (like TabCo) and not wanting something second rate to is, as he sees the other Android tablets seem to be.

I guess if we focus on who we want TabCo to be, we can piece together any information to suggest that being the case. Darn you TabCo.
