N9 confirmed for Kazakhstan – gets massive billboard.

| August 16, 2011 | 35 Replies

In July, a retailer in Kazakstan called Technodom said Nokia N9 was coming to them.

We weren’t too sure of the reliability of this site, but Alexa did rank it 128 in Kazakhstan.

Now this billboard appears again, in Kazakstan showing, guess what? Technodom (or Texhodom as the actual banner and name appears). That seems pretty legit now.

Also thanks to Engadget, if you did read the post early this morning (GMT) you would have learnt that Nokia was Swedish. :p It’s now finally corrected.

Thanks Erzhik for the tip!

Now let’s look at our list of N9 availability by country that we’ve been compiling thanks to your help. No change so far at least as Kazakstan was already there.

I’d just like to also remember again that N9 FCC ID label, which has so far on it’s own predicted: Kazakstan, Philippines, Turkey, Brazil, South Africa, and Argentina. Countries that did not have N9 availability originally listed, but now have either had local N9 pages, N9 events or confirmed retailer availability. There’s still more countries on that label ;).
