Video: Screenshots demo on WP8

A couple of weeks back we heard that WP8 would have screenshot capability. This is neither something new or innovative, but since it’s been highly requested, it was worth sharing this information to those who care about such features. If you don’t, well let’s press that back button :).

Below you can see this implementation in WP8. I do like that there’s a separate albums folder for screenshots instead of them getting bundled in with images you’ve downloaded or taken with the camera.

The video shows a WP8 emulator. To take a screenshot, press the windows+camera key.

It’s nice that this is built-in vs standalone app. It would have been nice if we could have at least got screenshot functionality from an app like Symbian in WP7 as opposed to having to go through the complicated Dev-Unlock route.
