Verizon to pick up Nokia Lumia 920 according to leaked roadmap?

| September 22, 2012 | 7 Replies

PhoneArena reports that according to a leaked Verizon roadmap, Verizon might be getting the Nokia Lumia 920. Along with the Ativ S and 8X, November is the suggested date.

Although Verizon has said they’ll be supporting WP and will do what they did with Droid for WP, I’ll refrain from getting too excited until I see Verizon have a Nokia Lumia on their shelves.

Too many rumors from different sources for it not to be true in some form.

could verizon and at&t both carry it?

They could, so long as one or the other hasn’t made some kind of exclusive deal.

The Galaxy S devices have been available on the Big 4 in the USA since it’s launch.

The ball in Nokia’s hands. Verizon and tmo obviously want to sell it. In the case of Lumia 900, Nokia wants AT&T exclusivity in return for better placement, training, Ads. But this time around, L920 don’t need that.

BTW Verizon almost always brands both sides of their phones (front bezzel and bottom back) would be interesting to see if Nokia lets them screw with polycarb beauty..
