Video: Leaked Nokia Lumia 510 hands on
Hot on the heels of the hands on photo is a very quick, short (and blurry) hands on with the Nokia Lumia 510.
This one can be seen still sporting WP7.5, hopefully to be upgraded to 7.8 later (with WP8 style homescreen).
Thanks ANKUR for the tip!

I don’t see the point in making new WP7.x phones…
+1
Maybe it’s cheaper now to license wp7.x and no need for further optimisations to run on older HW
that’s what i had in my mind too. I truly wish that Nokia has some level of exclusivity for this since they are clearly contributing a lot as Elop also pointed out earlier
They should run Symbian.even cheaper.
lower price point and support for wp7 after wp8 launches. if the 610 is selling very well in china, this could probably do even better
many many android devices come with android 2.3, also all cheaper androids are on 2.3 version
If Nokia takes supporting 7.5 / 7.8 devices in the future seriously, then they are very welcome as they offer viable alternatives to cheap (both in Price and Quality) android entry-level phones.
Which most of to date haven’t seen any upgrades beyond 2.3
if windows phone wants to succeed they need to be better than android in this way instead of saying ‘o look many androids still stuck on 2.3 thats why it is acceptable for windows phone to be stuck on 7.x’
Sure, but still, compared to them they can offer a much more pleasant user experience..
the matte back looks nice. =D
Bigger 610 that reflect so much?
Y is it numbered as 510?
Why you NOT POSTING @nokiapureview lumia 510 shots and video samples I very suprised about it Jay post it please so all people will know
I guess the bezel pic from before the NYC event was the 510.
yes.good eye, i was wondering about that device. no i wonder what will they show at mwc. a 808 successor? there were rumours of the glory and flame, competitors for the htc 8s. maybe a bew symbian device?
suspect there won’t be any Symbians anymore.. but perhaps I am wrong, they could I guess launch a couple more low end ones rolling on sunk cost investments already made.
100% no symbian phones. that is over for good.
dsmobile do you know what happened to most of the engineers from the Symbian team ? They have a major bug in FP1/FP2 and there seems to be no response from Nokia, I am thinking they simply don’t have the people who could fix it anymore, so they are just ignoring it..

BREAKING NEWS BREAKING NEWS!!
Trojan horse has finally succeed in ravaging the company..Nokia is not going to recover and may sell its property in 2013..
American feudalism got its prey-collaspe of european company…
My heart is bleeding..:(

Lol. Are you for real? I hope not.
4gb MEMORY WITHOUT SD CARD=EPIC FAIL
They need to pinch from everything else since the WVGA screen is so expensive. Also expect low display quality, basic TN TFT probably with 16-bit colors.
They intend to sell this cheaper than the 610, so there is no room for “nice things” with the WP 7.x minimum specs, which were originally not designed for anything cheaper than mid range (i.e. Lumua 710 class). They already crippled app compatibility with the “light” version that runs on 256 MB of RAM, but MS was not willing (or able) to reduce the resolution minimum from WVGA to something more suitable for low end phones, which makes the BOM juggling quite a nightmare for low end designs. But hey, things like this happen when you depend on another company for your OS, especially as controlling as Microsoft.
