Weekend Watch: 11 Minute Nokia Lumia 820 hands on (French)
Here’s a hands on of the Nokia Lumia 820 (in French) lasting 11 minutes long. And they’re actually allowed to look at the whole phone. I’m not sure if this is WP8 or WP7.8, I can’t see much has changed. It slightly worries me that MS still has no idea about how to display a calendar. Perhaps with the extra pixels in the 920, those with better eyes will be able to see the microscopic entries in full calendar view – but what about 820?
Everything is otherwise super fast and fluid.

nokia 808 pureview is slightly faster.still cant kill apps.
faster in what exactly?
u can saycheaper, better, cooler etc etc, but certainly not faster… (808 is only faster in camera launch )..
launching app like contact, message, calendar, apps, video and gallery is damn fast.calendar on wp look ugly.only browser in symbian is slow.this kind of speed is fast if you say its single core but not so fast since it runs on dual core.
I disagree. Calendar, video and gallery is pretty damn fast and smooth in WP. The calendar app in WP is pretty ugly.
Nobody noticed ? It is his own sim card in it, on the French SFR network. Plus it seems like it’s also his own contacts and photos in it, that’s strange.
this isn’t the final build from what i’ve read. apparently these phones are running a 9xxx build and the latest builds that are being tested are 1xxxx
I don´t like the call button to be only a small tile in the homescreen.
I think it should be always visible in the main screen, as the search button, or the windows button.
Damn, its a phone, not a computer.
