There’s also one of the lovely Gwen Stefani, unfortunately on a KIRF machine.

Wow, Halo 4 has $220million in global sales in first 24 hours. Record Sales. 25% of US retailers are finding windows 8 are selling faster than expected, although everyone really is waiting for black Friday, day after Thanksgiving, to see which retailer gives us the low, low win8 computer price.

Jay, why so much antagonism against HTC? They’ve been a WP OEM for a long time, have had mostly decent designs, and if anything the 8X is a great reinforcement to the “Windows Phone Ecosystem” that Elop predicates. Without strong sales from HTC, Samsung and Microsoft (whenever they launch their Surface phone) that make viable a WP8 “ecosystem”, Nokia is in a worse shape with WP8 than it was by following the Symbian/Meego/Meltemi route. The last quarter’s report is very clear on that..

i always liked HTC, recommended them over samsung all the time, for andriod..

but they didnt have to steal the lumia design 100%.. its just embarrassing how none of the tech sites mentions that.. with media like that, they can easily trick ppl; and give the impression that HTC invented that design and lumia is a wannabe.. since HTC is more known in the US for example

        So much for journalistic integrity…

But I do recall that HTC did copy from other OEMs aside from Nokia. I remember seeing some HTC phones whigh look eerily similar to some midrange Samsung Galaxy phones, probably also Blackberry as well.

Terrible adverts as it doesn’t identify tell you how it would help improve your life by owning one!

I probably think the render is intentional to show the 8X as its flagship WP8 phone. Not surprised why because if the ad used his 920, I’m sure HTC won’t be too happy about it (after all, you’re talking about the CEO of Microsoft, not another high-profile celebrity).

But he did display his 920 together with Alba’s 920 and Belfiore’s 8X in the photo taking session at the end of the WP8 event, so, nothing against him. ;)

  9. Useful info. Fortunate me I discovered your website accidentally, and I am stunned why this accident did
not happened in advance! I bookmarked it.
