Integrated Skype in people hub coming; aluminium catwalk Lumia confirmed?
A couple of things from WMPU.
First up, Belfiore’s sharing more update news for WP indicating that Skype integration to the people hub is on its way. Finally.

Next up, confirming what we’ve heard from dsmobile and calming contrasting rumours that an aluminium/metal lumia is not coming, ElMu claims to have seen the metal lumia. For some reason, this was apparently shown early in MWC to some select ‘journalists’. Was Catwalk meant for an MWC launch but set back for later? Fingers crossed for a post MWC launch event happening soon eh? :p ElMu says that this aluminium device is a great one and possibly the most popular of the year.
It has been a while since we heard from ElMu. Probably won’t be long till he reiterates his favourite rumour (Someone buying Nokia again)

If it was announced back in MWC, it might take away the award that HTC one took as “this aluminium device is a great one and possibly the most popular of the year.”
even if there was secrete room, i don’t believe nokia would invite him.
So do you really believe, that ElMu not only got to see the S4 (as he claims) but the Nokia Catwalk too at the MWC?
Sure, that must have been right before Apple invited him to see the iPhone 6,7 and 8
I think anything Nokia puts out would’ve been eclipsed by the Galaxy S4 which already eclipsed the Z10/XperiaZ/the one , Good move on Nokia’s part.
Agree, I think lack of announcements from other companies in MWC was one of the key factors of canceling high end device releases. Releasing something competitive almost at the same time makes it more appealing to the big crowd.
Marketing is playing with words. As an example, when Galaxy S4 is released tech bloggers compare it to other phones which are considered “newest”/”latest”. Like “Lumia 920 is the latest high end phone from Nokia. Now, let’s compare it to –new– SGS4″. Difference isn’t big, but it might alternate how we think.
Or that’s how I though it through :p
