Nokia 200, 300 and 303 spotted on Ovi Publish (along with Belle Trio, Nokia 600, 700, 701)

Siraj from lovemynokia has spotted three new S40 handsets on Ovi publish with the new naming convention.

  • 320×240 – landscape – Nokia 200 – another budget QWERTY
  • 240×320 – portrait – Nokia 300, and Nokia 303
Whilst the names might be hard to remember, at least you can differentiate 300 from 303 (instead of the myriads of Nokia C3, C3-00, C3-01, C3-02 etc. These would have been fine if they just appeared one year after the other as an upgrade to keep these line of phones memorable but no.)
Update: What’s the HVGA screen device there? 320×480?
Glenn tipped the same some info from Ovi Publish, as you can see the Nokia 600, 700 and 701 .

These listed are the Belle device. These started as rumours, then leaked images appeared, uaprofs on Nokia.com and then FCC approvals for all but the Nokia 701 and of course, last week the sudden announcement of the Nokia 500.

Rumour is that the Nokia 700 with Belle will appear then as early as September.
