Just head over to the […]

Something many of us who have had the pleasure of owning an N900 know, is the ability to flash the device with a range of OSes. Now it seems you can do the same with the N950. (This does not mean dual-boot. Simply run a different OS on your device.) The MeeGo community has put […]

Kamusta Pilipinas! Folks in the Philippines are now able to pre-order the Nokia N9 in the Philippines. This handset is exclusive to Smart. Video: 3 minute disassembly of the Nokia N9

| November 2, 2011 | 26 Replies

You might have seen the N9 disassembly pictures from the service manual. Perhaps you saw the internal photos from FCC.  The most gruesome, or tantalising perhaps though is video. Seeing the innards be dissected out, showing for certain where everything goes inside to make the whole thing work. There’s a 3 minute video below (in Russian?) disassembling the N9. […]

Review: iWindows for Symbian

Review: iWindows for Symbian

| October 31, 2011 | 4 Replies

This review comes from our reader FireDragon. He installed iWindows on his N8 running Anna. Here’s what he thought. The Start Button’s graphic is horrible […]

Check out this video showing the a Qt QML FM Radio. It’s pretty funky looking, especially that on/off button. The FM radio dials can be set to a station. Not sure if it would have the “seek” function to search for stations automatically. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYHV2BuCSMM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYHV2BuCSMM Video by perlinet Cheers AmmAR  for the tip!

The amazingness of N8’s camera (for video)

I had always originally planned on recording videos with the N8 and pictures with my Canon 60D. However, I thought I’d want samples in 1080p. However, my 60D is: Huge Heavy No continuous autofocus This means it’s quite a pain recording videos of phones, where during a demo they can constantly move in and […]
