Here’s CJ from unleashthephones.com reviewing the recently launched (Jan 2015) Lumia 532 from Microsoft. It’s a good phone for the price range but how does this fare in comparison to the other budget/entry level Lumias?

My sister likes hand drawing out personalised cards. She sent this one over Whatsapp as I’m still in the Philippines. It’s a Nokia Lumia 920 birthday card, in yellow, including Lumia tiles! She uses a 920 too and takes pictures for her own blog (previously to 920, was the 710). I thought it was pretty […]
The first concept, a Microsoft Lumia 935 – successor to the 930 brings a 31MP camera with Xenon. Xenon in built in a somewhat slim invisible hump free 31mp shooter is more than welcome. https://www.behance.net/gallery/22935367/Microsoft-Lumia-935 There’s a 5.5″ QHD screen that’ll be a fantastic viewfinder. A 1020 accessory reborn: Next up the latest concept for […]
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a very interesting phone in terms of design. Following the Note 4 edge, this one has a double left and right curved screen. I actually quite like it – one of the nicer Samsung designs of late. Mr Sam J Pullen has a quick demo that seems to give the Nokia Lumia […]
Michael Fisher from PocketNow has given the Jolla Phone a fair go given the time constraints. Here he takes a look at Jolla’s second and upcoming Sailfish OS device, their first ever tablet. Unlike the JollaPhone which was not the highest end specs at launch despite the high price (because it wasn’t meant for the […]

You can find out more about the Sailfish OS Hardware Adaptation Development Kit here Martin will show how to do this on the OnePlus One after he returns from MWC #SailfishOS on oneplus one. A quick, tool free tutorial on how to insert the SIM and memory card into the Lumia 640 XL. You pry the back cover off and remove the battery. The Dual SIM variant of the 640 means you can stick in another SIM right next to the first one (marked SIM 2). The memory card […]
WP reports that in the latest update 2 for WP8.1 finally gives us the ability to individually pin WP start screen settings. Ever since WP7, I thought that was how it should work. Everything pinnable. At the moment I’m missing the basic ability to pin albums, app sections and playlists so easily on the various […]
There’s been a lot of drama surrounding Nokia’s Chennai plant. The last we heard though were some positive insights from Nokia CEO that things would get moving once again. TimesofIndia reports that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi suggests the Nokia Chennai factory will begin functioning again soon – in fact the quote is “in the coming […]
Nokia’s Chairman, Risto Siilasmaa recently spoke to Finnish business newspaper, Kauppalehti regarding Nokia. I’ve only got the translated version so there may be a few things missed. Nokia paid a heavy price. The gist seems to be that the past falls of Nokia are learning points never to be repeated again. Back in 2012 some […]
Everyone’s excited to get their hands on Nokia’s first tablet and consumer device post Microsoft buy-out of D&S. So far so good – great offering for a stunning price – Premium experience but affordable.
..that you can’t buy because of limited availability. Although launched in November last year and has been available in China, MWC15 is pretty much the first time most of the techsphere is experiencing it, including ones as big as TheVerge. They reckon it’s the Nicest Android Tablet That you Can’t buy. Provided you can deal […]
It has been a long time since we’ve seen a Lumia flagship. The 1520 to me is THE reigning flagship but that was from October 2013. 2013! We almost saw something amazing with the cancelled Nokia McLaren but alas that was no more. According to TheVerge, Microsoft are of course working on a Lumia Flagship […]
Here’s some hands on videos of the newly launched, newly named Lumia 640 XL! The 640 XL has a new display size for Lumia at 5.7″. Not the completely huge 6″ of the 1520 or 1320 but larger than the plethora of 5″ Lumias. It’s an almost all touch variety with physical buttons only for […]
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong on my Note 4 as to why clicking on a notification of an updated app brings me nowhere and does not list the app as being updated. On that regard, Z Launcher said it got updated and it mentions the following (mostly fixes) but new icons, Baidu search […]
